Basically Broadway is a YouTube channel/virtual theatre company created by Sadie Kate Gibson. It was established solely as a comedy YouTube channel on February 14th, 2019 when the first Recorder Cover was posted. As more videos were made, the channel grew, and currently has over 300 subscribers. In 2021, Basically Broadway produced two full-length musicals: Hamilton: An Online Musical and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. In 2023, they released Basically Broadway’s Christmas Series, which was a series of Christmas songs performed by old and new faces, all arranged by Sadie Kate Gibson. Their next production, Little Shop of Horrors, is coming soon.
