Basically Broadway’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street began pre-production almost immediately after Hamilton: An Online Musical premiered, and was completed within only five months. It was released to the public on August 13, 2021. Unlike Hamilton, the show was filmed in-person, The Mewbarn being the filming location. Many Hamilton cast members were in this production, but there were also many new actors in this show as well, including a much bigger ensemble and many cameos from several Antelope Valley theatre legends.
